HAECO launches Solar Photovoltaic System at composite services and landing gear services facilities in Jinjiang and Xiamen

HAECO Group is proud to announce the successful launch of a state-of-the-art Solar Photovoltaic Systems at its composite services facility in Jinjiang and its landing gear services facility in Xiamen. This latest sustainable initiative marks a significant milestone in HAECO’s commitment to environmental responsibility and resource efficiency. Since July 2023, the Solar PV power system has been fully operational in both facilities, propelling the company towards sustainable practices.

The newly developed solar panels incorporate advanced photovoltaic cells, ensuring efficient conversion of solar energy into electrical power. With an impressive capacity of 1.54 Megawatts (MW), the system at HAECO Composite Services is projected to generate approximately 1.6 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of clean electricity annually, making a substantial contribution to the reduction of carbon emissions. It is estimated that the Solar PV power generation will result in approximately 1,032 tonnes of carbon emissions reduction per year. Likewise at HAECO Landing Gear Services, the installed capacity of 0.59 MW is projected to generate around 0.69 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of renewable energy, leading to a reduction of approximately 426 tonnes of carbon emissions within a year.

Since 2008, HAECO Landing Gear Services has been offering a full range of inspection, repair, maintenance, modification, overhaul, and leasing services for landing gear. In 2009, HAECO Composite Services was established, specialising in composite repairs, particularly for fan reversers and nacelle systems, flight control surfaces, and radomes.
